About Builder Decade
Builder Decade exists for one reason: most “build in public” advice is written by people who haven’t actually shipped anything.
We publish field notes from the trenches — software, hardware, and projects built with AI agents — no hype, no tutorial-farm noise. Just what actually works, explained clearly and tested against the evidence.
What we believe
- The long game wins. A decade of consistent building beats any launch-week spike.
- Ship, then talk. Every claim here is tested against something real that got built and shipped.
- AI is a tool, not a substitute for judgment. Agents multiply a builder’s output — they don’t replace the decisions.
Who writes this
Builder Decade is a solo builder who ships real products — apps that reach the App Store, devices assembled on a bench, agents doing real work — with AI agents as the team. Every method published here is tested against what actually ships and works, with the decisions and mistakes left in.
That experience is the point. Most “build in public” advice is written by people who stopped at the tutorial. This is written from inside the build itself.
Who this is for
Solo founders, indie hackers, and engineers who want to build real products in the AI era — without burning out, without chasing every new framework, and without losing the thread of why they started.
The name
“Builder Decade” — because real craft is measured in years, not weeks.
